These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental of vehicles from Drivio. By signing or electronically accepting the rental agreement, the customer (“Renter”) acknowledges that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms.
Driver’s Age and Driving Licence
The Renter and every additional driver must be at least 19 years old.
The maximum permitted driver age is 75 years.
The driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least two years.
For driving licences issued in non-Latin characters, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required.
A valid passport or identity card must be presented upon vehicle collection.
Reservations and Vehicle Categories
In the event that the selected vehicle is unavailable, a similar vehicle from the same category will be provided.
If no vehicle is available in the same category, a free upgrade to a higher category may be offered.
Rental Duration, Extension and Late Return
The minimum rental duration is 24 hours.
The rental period may be extended following prior communication and agreement with the company.
A grace period of 60 minutes applies after the agreed return time.
In the event of a late return beyond the grace period, one full additional rental day will be charged.
In the event of an early return, no refund will be provided.
Insurance and Security Deposit
The excess and security deposit amounts vary depending on the vehicle category. The exact amount will be displayed during the booking process in the insurance selection section.
Basic Insurance (CDW/TP) is included in the rental price.
A security deposit is required with Basic Insurance (CDW/TP), depending on the vehicle category. The security deposit may be paid by credit card, debit card or cash.
Standard Insurance is available as an additional option.

Fuel Policy
A Same-to-Same fuel policy applies. The vehicle is provided with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same fuel level.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the cost of the missing fuel will be calculated based on the current local retail fuel price on the date of return, plus a €50 refuelling fee.
No refund will be provided for any additional fuel remaining in the vehicle upon return.
Mileage Policy
The rental includes unlimited mileage.
Additional Drivers and Extras
The first Baby Seat is provided free of charge.
Each additional Baby Seat is charged at €3 per day.
Insurance Exclusions
Insurance coverage does not apply in the event of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Insurance coverage does not apply when the vehicle is driven by an unauthorised driver who is not listed in the rental agreement.
Damage resulting from off-road driving or driving on unsuitable roads is not covered.
Damage caused by the use of incorrect fuel is not covered.
Loss of or damage to the vehicle keys is not covered.
Costs resulting from the Renter being locked out of the vehicle are not covered.
Damage to the vehicle’s interior is not covered.
Damage to the roof or underside of the vehicle is not covered.
Insurance coverage does not apply in the event of an accident or damage that is not immediately reported to the company.
Accidents, Damage and Traffic Fines
In the event of an accident, the Renter must immediately inform the company.
A police report is required in every case of an accident.
The Renter must complete and keep the Accident Report Form or European Accident Statement at the scene of the accident.
Taking photographs of the vehicles, the damage and the accident scene is recommended and may be required.
The Renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets and toll charges incurred during the rental period.
Vehicle Use Restrictions
The rented vehicle may only be used for lawful purposes and on suitable public roads.
Only authorised drivers listed in the rental agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
Pets are not permitted inside the vehicle.
Delivery, Collection and Out-of-Hours Service
The available delivery and collection locations are displayed during the booking process.
Additional charges may apply for the delivery or collection of the vehicle in areas located far from the company’s premises.
Ferry Transportation and Travel Restrictions
Transportation of the vehicle by ferry is permitted only with prior written authorisation from the company.
Travelling with the vehicle outside the island or outside the permitted area is allowed only with prior written authorisation.
Unauthorised travel or transportation of the vehicle automatically invalidates all insurance coverage.
Cancellation, No-Show and Early Return
Cancellations is Free up to 24 hours before the rental period.
In the event that the Renter does not appear at the agreed collection date and time, no refund will be provided.
In the event of an early return, no refund will be provided for any unused rental days.
Vehicle Return, Cleanliness and Inspection
The vehicle inspection upon return is carried out in the presence of an authorised company employee.
The Renter must return the vehicle in the same condition in which it was received, excluding normal wear and tear resulting from proper use.
Data Protection and Privacy
The company collects and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679).
Personal data is used exclusively for the purposes of the booking, the performance of the rental agreement and the provision of the related services.
Personal data is shared with third parties only when required by law or when necessary for the provision and operation of the rental services.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece.
Any dispute arising from the application or interpretation of these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Greek courts.
